Spotted: Personal Connection
This inspired artist and talented crafter is actually one of my dearest friends. A fellow photographer and art explorer, we both love finding new ways to capture the beauty we see in the world around us. What Lindsey Orlando Olson adds is the ability to manifest the beauty she sees inside on paper or canvas in Illustration, Painting or Print form. I envy her imagination in creating line drawn designs of animals, people and places that are simply done, but never unidimensional. When the occasion allows, she might even throw in something clever to discover, be it a comical twist in the subject matter or using words to create an image. Think a frog wearing mistletoe or a salsa dancer born out of the very words that describe her movement.
